I am finishing up on my Rotary style 2 point car hoist. I need to get final measurements so I can make sure it is the correct height. Once I measure it I will put in the small details. The control area still needs a lot of work, but I am looking for reference.

GAM450 Senior Project
For my senior project I have decided to create an additional location for the photo mode in Gran Turismo 5. The location I have chosen to build is an enthusiast’s garage. I have started modeling some of the objects I will be using.
These are jack stands I modeled. The models are almost complete, but I need to finish some detail work on the support section.

High Pressure - Airship Docks
This is a very quick (20 min) concept sketch I came up with for our steampunk themed game. It doesn't really fit the steampunk world, but I wanted to simply get a concept of what an airship dock might look like. I will be taking the design and adding steampunk elements to it so it better fits the world.
BlockFormer concept work.
In my team project class we are working on a game called BlockFormer. It is a puzzle game where the user controls different tools to solve a path through the level. These are some concepts I came up with for an urban environment. I used a light and dark background to show their luminosity in different enviroments. Sorry for the poor quality, I will resize them in photoshop and then upload them again the next chance I get.

High Pressure - Student Game Concept
In my latest class we are learning about the financial aspects of the gaming world. In this class we have to come up with a concept for a game, create the concept art, story line, game logo, a faux game company, and promotional posters and box art. After coming up with the art materials we will pitch the game to our teacher who will give us a budget for the game. With this fake budget we must decide how much to pay who, and decide if we want to petition for more money.
Our game is called High Pressure. It will be based in a Steampunk inspired world. The player with have a mechanical arm that can have steam powered tools mounted to it. I have some quick concepts here that I came up with during class. I also drew up a concept of the device the character will wear to produce steam, but at this point in time it is only in black and white. I will upload it soon.
The steam powered arm by itself.
A steam barrel to shoot steam.
A steam powered grappling hook.
Welcome to my blog.
Hi everyone,
My name is Brandon, and well, this is my blog. I will be posting up my game production based work. My main focus is in 3D modeling using the 3D Studio Max program. I focus mainly on modeling non organic objects. I specialize in anything mechanical such as engines, suspensions, brakes, cranes, transmissions, weapons, traps, etc. I also do concept art for those same objects. I enjoy working with people to create a realistically operating concept of what they want. I have 10 years of a mechanics background, since the day I bought my first car. If it's mechanical, I can figure it out and fix it.
I felt the need to start this blog because I am at the point where my work has a solid enough foundation that it is worth looking at, but still needs work to be professional. I am always open to ways to better my work. The best way to get better is to have people critique my work, so I'm posting it up.
Feel free to post up any comments you have. But please, if you are going to rip my work apart, add something constructive to help me out.
